Giving kids a head start
We take a very well-rounded approach to kindergarten—we know that if kids can balance structured classwork with social activity, physical activity, and good nutrition, they’ll be better prepared to enter elementary school. Our learning activities include a wide range of subjects, with a focus on reading, writing, vocabulary, and problem solving. We help kids build the communication skills, ability to focus, and self-confidence they’ll need to tackle new situations and ideas in their coming school years.

Snapshot of a day:
Here’s just a sample of what your kindergartener’s day might look like. We integrate learning and fun in new ways every day.
My son started kindergarten as a shy, timid little boy. Within weeks of him being in the BLC’s kindergarten, I noticed he was speaking more and coming out of his shell. I am amazed at the things he learns and how quickly he has learned them. I believe that with the small class size and the extra attention he receives, he has gained the self-confidence to excel.
Monica, BLC momHey, Dad! After morning storytime, guess what we found outside? The peas I planted this spring are starting to grow, and when they finish growing, we get to eat them for lunch! Sammy planted corn and Ava planted a tomato but they’re not ready yet. I told her not to be sad because they’re going to be orange tomatoes and that’s pretty cool. Did you know there are orange-colored tomatoes? It’s pretty funny.

We’d love to hear from you—don’t be shy. We can set up a time for you to visit our school and see what it’s all about.
