Movin’ on up
Our toddlers and twos are just about the busiest of the bunch at Bennion Learning Center. They fill every moment of their days with playing house, driving cars, building with blocks, making beautiful art projects, and then napping off all the fun. This is a vital age for learning about communication, handling feelings in healthy ways, and learning how great it is to share.
- Circle time gives kids the chance to share a thought and listen to others’
- Singing and dancing add a delightful dimension to music time
- Reading time builds the little ones’ ability to follow a story and then chat about it
- This is the perfect age to really develop social skills like communicating, sharing, and group play
- Healthy meals and snacks help kids grow strong and develop the willingness to try new foods

Miss Ashlynn
Ashlynn is the caregiver in our toddler class. She is looking forward to teaching young children to do new things and watch them grow. Ashlynn enjoys seeing each child’s individual personalities!
Miss Nicole
Nicole has been a part of Bennion for almost 8 years. Being a strong and flexible teacher, she has been in almost all age groups and is currently caring for our two year olds. She loves to watch children learn and discover new things; watching babies learn to crawl and walk as well as teaching toddlers new words. Nicole’s personal philosophy is that all children learn and grow at their own rates. She tries to give them what they each need individually; some need space when they are upset while others need lots of cuddles.
Miss Mia
Mia was born in Cali where she grew up before moving out to Utah. She has been working at Bennion Learning Center going on three years and is currently caring for our 2 yr olds and is working towards earning her Infant and Toddler CDA.
Mia loves working with kids because she hardly grew up with other kids around and is interested in their development. She loves always seeing their smiles every morning, the way their personality shines through and the genuine love they give. Mia wants to make a change in the world, be a safe place to provide comfort and always give love to those who need it the most.
BLC has been the perfect place for our little Spencer since he starting coming at 12 weeks old. I love that they are constantly striving to make improvements; the teachers are very loving and the director is so supportive. And the price is extremely reasonable.

Mama, today I smashed sweet potatoes with my fingers and it was the best. Then I got butter on my face. After teacher cleaned me up with a nice warm washcloth, I practiced walking around the play room. I threw some of my favorite books on the floor, and then teacher held me in her lap and showed me the pictures inside. I love the picture of the bear. I will hold the bear.
